The living room is front facing with magnificent, uninterrupted sea views with a comfortable seating arrangement, perfectly positioned for admiring the coastal views. Lossiemouth was historically a small port and fishing town and is now home to Scotland’s only operational Royal Air Force station. Further information on local attractions and events throughout the year are to be found on the Moray Speyside Tourism website. Elgin has a beautiful cathedral and there are many other nearby historical attractions including: Duffus Castle, Spynie Palace, Pluscarden Abbey, Lady Hill Castle, Distilleries, Cooperage to name but a few. Lossiemouth is an ideal base for exploring Inverness to the west (Inverness Airport is only 53 minutes by car) or Aberdeen to the east only 1.5 hours away. The Moray Coast has been recognised as Scotland’s ‘sunshine coast’ due to its mild climate and sunny aspect. A short drive away are the Malt Whisky Trail and Scotland’s Castle Trail (Aberdeenshire) which along with the Cairngorms National Park and Loch Ness are great days out. The apartment provides an ideal centre for walking or cycle touring using the Moray Coastal Trail which passes the apartment and links with the nearby Dava Trail and the Speyside way. Restaurants and cafes offer a range of local food and drink. The apartment is only a ten-minute walk from Lossiemouth Fishing and Community Museum, Lossiemouth Marina, wildlife boat trips, fishing, water sports and cycle hire. A popular holiday destination, it offers a wide range of outdoor activities including golf at the Moray Golf Club where Lossiemouth’s mild and dry climate means it is frequently possible to play golf every day of the year. The seaside town of Lossiemouth within the Moray Firth area is renowned for its unspoilt East and West beaches. The Moray Speyside area is home to over half of Scotland’s whisky distilleries. Restaurants, pubs, and numerous varied take-away food outlets are all within a 5-minute walk. Moray golf club with its two highly ranked 18-hole courses is a 2½-minute walk away. The recently opened new East Beach Bridge gives you access to the other beautiful sandy beach adjacent to the river Lossie. Within a short walk from the apartment, you will find the beautiful unspoilt sandy West Beach (3-minute walk) with its iconic Covesea Lighthouse visible from the apartment. Although the apartment is elevated above the sea and seashore, the accommodation is all on one level including external access. Its modernistic illuminated sign is especially energetic.Seashore Apartment is located in the quiet and exclusive Stotfield area of Lossiemouth, has been furnished to a very high standard and is ideal for couples and families of four. Main Street, is the Port Lavaca Theater of 1936, restored as a performing arts center in 1994. Commerce streets elevations by double galleries and symbolizes the civility that ambitious towns, such as Port Lavaca, once possessed. The hotel monumentalizes its presence with a three-story, hipped-roof corner tower, which is framed on its E. As the hotel's downtown location implies, this was an urban tourism, facilitated by a transportation technology that concentrated travelers rather than dispersing them, as cars would do in the twentieth century. As was true of other Texas coastal communities at the end of the nineteenth century, Port Lavaca took advantage of railroad connections to promote itself as a tourist resort.
